But, there was no slippy map, there was no Potlatch editor, and most important, there was no mapping done anywhere near me. When I happened by a number of months later, Potlatch was there, along with a slippy map. This made the project simple to edit and simple to use. And, more importantly, there were a few bits around where I lived. Not everything was there, but some streets that I recognized were there. And, some things were wrong. and much was still missing. And that motivated me to help. And, I dare say, it motivated quite a few other people to be involved. It really does lend weight to the saying "a lot of hands make light work of any task". Once we have enough people helping, I think even lobbying a government or two would become child's play. Thanks, Gerald
