I don't know if there are attribute tags for alternate languages, but if not there should be. Canada has two official languages, and there are other countries that have 3 or more official languages. BTW, you're going to find places where there are more than 2 differing names for a road. Take for instance the Alberta sample you picked out. It is a numbered highway in the Alberta grid, #16. It is also part of the Trans-Canada highway system called the Trans-Canada Highway Yellowhead Route. It's also known as the Yellowhead Highway (held over from prior to being part of the Trans-Canada), and within the confines of the City of Edmonton it is also the Yellowhead Trail. Who knows how many other names it goes by between Masset and Portage La Prairie.
