Hi all, I'm taking a look at the Ontario Provincial Parks dataset, and will enhance the current WMS layer (that has trails so far) with it. We can have it available as simple boundaries, "boundary=nature_reserve" We will also make a .gpx file version of it, as well as a transparent Garmin Map from it. The .osm files will be generated, listing ALL of the source data fields, so its free to pick & choose.
The CanVec data probably doesnt list this, however "landuse=wood" will certainly be around the area. -but Node data is probably available. This Provincial park boundary map feature should NOT touch the "landuse=wood" features, because provincial parks are located within city boundaries, i dont think that they should actually touch borders, ... Or could they? (btw, there is also the municiple boundary dataset available, but havent yet looked at that in detail) The 6 categories of Prov Parks are: Wilderness; Nature Reserve; Cultural Heritage; Natural Environment; Waterway; Recreational Would it be fine to; list them all as "boundary=nature_reserve"?
