I'm perfectly fine killing the "coastal" tag from the Canadian side on all fresh water lakes... makes more sense to me. Plus it doesn't import very well into my Garmin GPS anyways... you end up pulling half the globe just to get the "connecting lines", since it's not a single object.

We don't get the sorts of levels of water as they do in North America
so to me a shoreline is only along the sea shore...

Where as bodies of fresh water are usually lakes (natural=water)...
