Hi everyone: We'll be having a Vancouver OpenStreetMap Meet-up (chat about OSM) at a coffee shop on October 28 at 6 PM.
Date and Time: Tuesday, October 28, 2014 6:00 PM Location: BG Urban Cafe (Bread Garden) Metrotown 4575 Central Boulevard, Burnaby, BC Details: Learn how to use OpenStreetMap and contribute to OpenStreetMap, and find out why OpenStreetMap data can be very useful. Advanced users can also discuss more advanced OSM topics. We'll be looking at OpenStreetMap and web mapping, talk about ways to contribute to the wonderful world of free and open map data, and also share in some free Hallowe'en candy! You can also try out OSM mapping and editing on laptops and tablets at this event, you can also show your own OSM project to everyone. People from all backgrounds are welcome to join us, and all skill levels from beginner to advanced are welcome. If you live in the Vancouver area or happen to be in Vancouver on October 28, come join us.
