The Geofabrik address validator (http://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/), click Addresses, is useful for finding these address bugs. There are a lot of these in Canada. Also there are a lot of roads where the road name on the road does not match the road name from the address data, in this case a survey is needed to figure out which of the two names (or neither of them) is correct.
