It probably sounds dumb but building:levels etc will need some guidance, for example in the case of a shopping centre where most is single level but part, perhaps a third, is two levels. Gas stations building=roof with a separate building=commercial for the till?
Is there somewhere in the OSM wiki that can be pointed to for each attribute required or should someone prepare something specifically for this project? Thanks John
