We were actually talking about that on the osmcanada slack channel this morning.
If we wanted to use said data it would have to be evaluated city by city not as a whole data source. There are providers(Ottawa, Yellowknife, Montreal for example) that are already pretty well mapped in OSM where others(Rimouski) that only have a couple building in OSM.
