I am intending it as a quick feedback and discussion forum, to sort of split the difference between extensive proposal processes about road classification and mappers changing classification on their own with no discussion (which has increasingly been happening in Ontario). Right now we're discussing if and how to upgrade some of grid arterials in urban GTA which are important but are not provincial highways (because the province downloaded most urban non-freeway highways). These are streets like Yonge Street, Eglinton Avenue, or Davis Drive. If you have thoughts on road classification in Ontario (also outside GTA), please join in! You log into the forum with your OSM account, it's easy and doesn't require a separate account.
