Dear All, I'd like to propose a mapping party in Stoke on Trent at the beginning of July. I'm working with a resident group in Blurton to help them with their use of OSM and I'd like to build it into an event with their input.
I was orginally hoping to do something this weekend, but after advice from fellow OSMers I'm going to be using it to just promote a future event and build some awareness. On Saturday (tomorrow) from about 12 till 4 I'll be at a community event in the park just south of the Church Road shown here: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=52.97333&lon=-2.15148&zoom=15&layers=B000FTF If you're a local feel free to come along and say hello and help me hatch some plans for the full mapping event.
