We've previously tracks things to do on the wiki as a project list: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Mappa-Mercia#Mini_projects So you might add a new project to the table and a new page to track locations that need visiting. We also use this http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Change_register for tracking areas we need to revisit once development work is done.
