Hi Andy Although I haven’t any detailed on-the-ground local knowledge it looks to me that the watershed is closer to Pottery Road rather than Hurst Road so the section in between these roads is correctly labelled but may be flowing the wrong way. The section labelled Thimblemill further west, beyond the Wolverhampton Road, perhaps shouldn’t be so labelled at all - it doesn’t appear to be named on old OS maps I have seen.
Hope this helps Stephen Sent from my iPad > On 11 Nov 2020, at 19:50, Andy Mabbett <a...@pigsonthewing.org.uk> wrote: > > I'm trying to make sense of the stream or sreams listed below. > > This one: > > https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/171647724 > > is labelled Thimblemill Brook, and runs westwards to the River Tame; > but a few yards away, this one: > > https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/171553553 > > is unnamed, but joins: > > https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/171553560 > > which is also named "Thimblemill Brook" and runs eastwards to: > > https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/1825656536 > > where it disappears.
