As I've just mentioned in another thread, the UK National Inventory of War Memorials <http://www.ukniwm.org.uk/>, based at the Imperial War Museum, is creating a comprehensive archive of all war memorials in the United Kingdom. They have records for over 60,000 of the estimated 100,000 war memorials in the UK. These range from window and brass plaques to church organs, obelisks an crosses, and buildings. An example of the latter is the entry for Birmingham's Hall of Memory: <http://www.ukniwm.org.uk/server/show/conMemorial.2049>.
How should I tag that? Generally speaking, is it best to use the full URL; UKNIWM_URL = http://www.ukniwm.org.uk/server/show/conMemorial.2049 or the unique ID part: UKNIWM_ID = 2049 and why? -- Andy Mabbett @pigsonthewing http://pigsonthewing.org.uk _______________________________________________ Talk-GB mailing list Talk-GB@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb
