Hi all, I just saw an announcement that mySociety will be mothballing some of their old projects. One of them is "Scenic or not?" - it's a project to gather "a freely available nation-wide dataset of scenicness" for the UK. http://scenic.mysociety.org/
So, well I never heard about it until now, but now it's shutting down, or at least going into read-only mode. Why do I mention it? * It provides open crowdsourced data about scenicness (ODBL licence) - hundreds of thousands of votes cast. Surely one of you might do something interesting with it? * "Would you like to run ScenicOrNot yourself?" asks the website. Maybe you would...?
