It can. I'm seeking additional local input on this tagging. Similar facilities outside the UK have been retagged to the sanitary_dump_station scheme. Any UK edit will be node-by-node, not mechanical. No Canal & River Trust google map will be copied, though it's a shame the C&RT data is not available to OpenStreetMap. My goal with the edits are, over time, to prepare this feature for acceptance in rendering.
