As discussed in the recent thread "Parish boundaries and physical features", we have a lovely automated import process for parish boundaries from OS BoundaryLine. It would be really convenient for the boundary=place relation #19355552 that I've just defined (and some other similar relations that I'd like to define shortly) if I could split some of those boundary=admin ways and include only part of them in the relation. Would that be a legitimate thing to do? Or have I got the method of specifying a sub-parish area (of no administrative significance) completely wrong anyway?
