Great idea ! Makes the thing personal. And reminds people that Big Brother
is ALWAYS watching them, ha ha.

Hi all,

www.openstreetmap.ie is registered and currently forwards to a view of
Ireland on www.openstreetmap.org - I'd like to get this moving forward,
maybe look at rendering as Gaeilge - any other suggestions, folks?

One thing I might do which would take relatively little effort would be
look for Irish institutions and placenames in the reverse DNS of the
client IP - so if someone connects from one of the colleges it'll zoom
in on their campus, if someone connects from an Eircom DSL or broadband
IP it'll zoom in on the nearest large town, etc.

Thoughts?
