In the case of Westport they messed it up yet again in 1991
They changed the boundary of the Urban District Council area but not the EDs in Westport. http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/eli/2001/si/602/made/en/print Now the townland of Moyastin was split into two when the Urban ED was created in 1898 or so. A smidge urban and most rural. That order changed the Council Boundary but not the ED boundary so I believe there are still 2 x Moyastin Townlands today.
