A large number of place tags in Odisha are imported from AND. Most of these tags are on nodes which are part of a way. The OSM wiki recommends to place a node at the center of a settlement and tag it appropriately. Can I remove such "erroneous" nodes from the middle of the way and move them to the settlement center?
Most of these nodes are very close to the actual settlements. Hence, there is minimal confusion about where to place those nodes. Regards, Aditya.
