Well, I'm building the egg right now, so people can eat chicken eventually. (Currently fixing up all the basic data, starting with admin boundaries...)
Also, if people would at least READ the mailing list, it could act like a newsletter of sorts. I'm posting progress as I go, and some people do exchange valuable information over it. While I know Koreans would much prefer something like "cafe' at Naver or Daum, the current number of OSM users in Korea would make it infeasible to sustain it for now, IMO. Another chicken-or-egg problem, if you will. So anyone actually subscribing to the mailing list... say stuff. Anything. I think it's crucial that people talked at all and acknowledge their existence at least once a while. BTW, the main reason we can't use any data from NGI (국립지리원) isn't because you have to pay to use it, but rather, it's ILLEGAL to try export it to a foreign server (OSM's servers aren't in Korea, so it's exportation) unless you get the minister's approval due to the relevant laws. Requests for approvals are turned down on the basis of national security, so government data should be avoided to prevent any legal troubles.
