I'm from Southern California, USA. We have a saying there - "I want it all, and I want it all now." I moved to Nuvali 2 months ago and brought 2 Garmin Nuvi GPS's. Of course my US maps are no good here. I found RoadGuide Philippines, downloaded the only map they offer, and there is very little in it about this area (Nuvali/Sta Rosa). They offer a contributors map, which I downloaded and it crashed my Desktop. I found OSM and cannot figure how to get it into my Garmin; I could use help with that. With OSM I'm finally learning where I am in relation to Manila. I don't know how to work my GPS to capture and upload locations (GPS Coordinates?); I could use help with that. I'm getting ready to build a home for my family in Venare, I'm a Building Contractor and I'll need to find places to get building materials and such. I'm accustomed to going on the Internet and using a ZIP Code to find local suppliers. Haven't figured out how to do that yet; Could use help with that, too. Otherwise, all is good.
