Hi all,After doing 2 broadcasts, 1st being a test. Fortunately, some good
feedback. For the 2nd broadcast, i used the white board, and was able to
draw out and try to explain in picture-form what the problem is.

So now, for the next one, I will be able to further get into it, and try to
hammer out all the objections, and hopefully it will be able to produce more
ideas. :)

I haven't heard back yet from the latest ideas, as it looks like osm2shp is
still in the works. as well as osm2csv.

I still need to earn what the capabilities are for RoadMatcher, as well as
what the limits are to JOSM with looking at duplicates.

The only other application i know of which can successfully merge CSV files
is GED.

GED From Ancestry.org project, where each entry has a unique ID number,
however, there is smart matching where it links First/Last names and
Birth/Death dates and relations / spouse/kids, to try to identify ancestors.
So it copies the information from 1 contact and adds them to another, then
removes/merges duplicates. ... i'll try to contact to makers of that
program, perhaps they have an idea.

Oh ya, for the contacts example, it looks like gmail will have the
contact-sync soon. Perhaps its more difficult then i thought?

Cheers, Sam Vekemans
