I chalk this up to some of the wacky things that we can do in the desert around here. The current owner bought the place from Tex Earnhardt. Tex on a bull during is auto commercials was just another interesting sight when I moved here. I think you captured the idea. I am guessing that the new owner picked up his planes at the bone yard here https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=15/32.5122/-111.3239. Although some of those planes look like they are in restored condition. "We are the only private motorsports club that incorporates an FAA approved private airport, luxury trackside casitas, residential lots for sale, observation tower and private member garages with the finest racing and touring road course anywhere in the country.[1] "With membership fees ranging from $7,000 to $120,000, plus annual fees of $3,000 to $12,000, this is a country club for well-heeled motorsports enthusiasts.[2] "Auto magnate Tex Earnhardt, whose TV commercials gained him fame by spouting the catchphrase "That ain't no bull," turns 80 on Thursday.[3] [1] http://www.indemotorsports.com/site/index.php?/site/section_thetrack [2] http://tucson.com/entertainment/country-club-for-car-enthusiasts-inde-motorsports-ranch-is-willcox/article_d4b7709a-5585-5e4e-b225-e634ab244353.html [3] http://archive.azcentral.com/business/articles/20101207biz-earnhardt1208.html Regards, Greg _______________________________________________ Talk-us mailing list Talk-us@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-us
