OpenStreetMap has just launched a new function that allows anyone to easily add a note to the map while browsing www.openstreetmap.org The motivation is to lower the the barrier for contributing to OSM. If you see something missing on the map, a mistake or inaccuracy but you do not have the time to edit or correct the map, you can now add a note so that others can respond and action. To “add a note”, click on the link at the bottom right of the OSM website. There is no need to login to add a note, but if you do it will be saved under your profile.
