If I'm not mistaken there is already a "Next-bus" company. Also, I recall (but
from a WHILE ago) someone in Cape Town area that also considered the "next-bus"
name. It was specifically related to Cape Town's BRT system.

Johan

I have improved the reliability and the timestamp bug:
http://firefishy.com/tmp/bus/

I really must get my act together and finish the "Bus countdown"
site... to show ETA for next bus at any particular stop.

I plan to launch the site publicly soon. Name suggestions appreciated.
Ideas: bus-stop.co.za, next-bus.co.za, next-stop.org.za.....

/ Grant

Next-stop I think is best. It allows to become more than just for busses.

.... and to become more than just for Gautrain...

How difficult is it to add an age coundown to the bus time too, when you
click on it?
"Last Update: 08:43:13 SAST" becomes "Last Update : 08:43:13 SAST (2:32 min
ago)"

.. and a reminder to fix the two hour offset, actual time for the above was
6:43

A question: Is this timestamp from the source server (gautrain I presume)
or do you add it?

This is already really great. It seems to be the only browser based tool
out there. All development of this type has moved to smart phones??

John
