Greetings,
Since BWS is really just user of the applications - the scripts need to
have a "logged in desktop" to operate - just like a user would.
Regards,
Thom

Subject: [talkbws] RE: Microsoft Terminal Services & BWS

We are using on a Windows 2003 server. However, we are just starting out
on this...we have one production process and another two that will
hopefully be implemented with in the next two weeks.

The details of the current process:

Web and some windows scripting (against a web
site that downloads 835's)

No one watches this process at all. If it fails
a help desk call is generated by the script.

We ended up using PCAnywhere and leaving the
session "Always Logged On" - Remote desktop would not work. Even with a
console session BWS script would not work properly.

Yes, we do use the Scheduler.

Does anyone use BWS on a server setting? If so, have you been able to
use Microsoft terminal Services to manage your scripts and use the
scheduler?
