Thanks Thom....as is usually the case with me I really tried to overcomplicate this whole matter...after reading your reply the proverbial light bulb went off and I had to say the inevitable "DUH"....
Although it was still worth it as I had the opportunity to see Mitch's solution and now have another option in my scheduling needs... Thanks again to everyone for their thoughts and suggestions...This Listserve has proven invaluable since I've starting working with BWS on a regular basis now. The Start Date + interval+ the ability to add the same script multiple times to the schedule is the magic here. You set start date to the 1st of any month and the interval as monthly, it'll run on the first every month. Entry #1 - Select the script in the dropdown add to the Scheduler - select Monthly as interval- set start date as 6/01/09 (that way it runs next month - if you set it for an earlier month - it'd run once to "catch up" Entry #2 - Select the script in the dropdown add to the Scheduler- Select Monthly as interval - set start date as 6/15/09 I've done more complex things with the Scheduler too - like saying don't run it on the 1st if the first is a Saturday or Sunday... We schedule the script to run everyday and then the first Rule goes: If (Day(Now) <> 5) Then End End If. Of course, the issue here would be if it needs to be run on another day, you'll have to modify the code. Anyone have something similar running that would be willing to share their solution? Thanks!! Travis D.
