Greetings, I just put together an extreme version of this using a file with 100000 records, used Excel as the output for the report and specified an alternate file name.
It created a few more than 2 BDS files J - and my report was generated just fine. Are you sure in your report configuration that you've got the Status field as the first field and you have set a filter to include the records with the desire status? What about your d.report command? Mine looks like: D.Report ,,"c:\myreport.xls" Note the 2 commas - I got that wrong the first time and I did not get a report. Regards, Thom Thom C. My problem is due to the size, BWS is creating two BDS files (BDS, and BDS1) but at time of compiling the report it is ignoring the BDS1 file and not writing my files into the output report. The current file I am testing against the records I wish to write are 1518 thru 1532 , I could see the status set = 1 in the BDS1 file. But they do not show up in my output report. Could anyone help me solve this issue Paul Yagid Women's Health 22 Waterville Road Avon, CT 06001 phone: 860.678.5566 email: [email protected] ________________________________ "CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: If you have received this e-mail in error, please immediately notify the sender by e-mail at the address shown.
