I had a similar issue when setting up a citrix session on a windows 2003
server. Beside the folder having full access rights to the BSS70 folder, there
is a logging file "idxlog.txt" on the root of the c drive that is written to.
Just give full permission (or just even Read & Execute) to that file and I
think that should do the trick. I'm using IDXTerm as the terminal client; your
log file may have a different name depending on the terminal services you are
using. Just look for a recent or today's date.

I've been using Windows 7 and Boston 9.8 patch 836 build 1481 and have had no
issues at all. However I had to make myself a local admin on the PC.

Subject: [talkbws] Windows 7 and permissions

Is anybody having trouble running BWS in a Windows 7 environment? We can't
seem to get the permissions to stay off "read only" on the Bss70 folder. This
causes my terminal server.exe not to connect. I have gone through DOS and
changed the permissions...but it doesn't really happen..still "read only".

Thank you,
