Here goes!

You really can simplify the command if you are connected to the webpage
already in in the script and the website is not a framed page. The
example shows a complex scenario where you have to specify a particular
document to save.

The below should work.

F("FilePath")="C:\My Little File Location\"

F("UserName")="Alice"

F("FileName")=F("UserName") & "_" & d("Account") & ".html" ' Of course
"Account" I just made up, you'd use whatever your field name is

t=f("FilePath") & F("FileName") ' Here just assembling it all together

Web1.SavePage t,,True

Subject: [talkbws] How to save a webpage as html to local drive

Hello everybody,

Our company uses BWS to inquire patient medical information on PROMISe
(Pennsylvania's claims processing & management information system). My
script posts patient data from an Excel spreadsheet to the website,
which in turn posts search results and inserts the results into the
spreadsheet. The script has been working perfectly fine grabbing the
search results. But, now I would like to grab the entire results web
page and save it as html file in a specified folder on local drive.
There're actually 2 parts to my question:

1. How do I go about to save a web page as html file in a
specified folder on local drive?

* So far, I have tried using the code example provided in the
BWS help menu (see below). But, I keep on getting an compile error
saying "Expected: =" when using the web1.SavePage

*         Dim p as object

A

Web1.SavePage("C:\Testfile.html",p,True,1)

Set p = nothing

2. The name of the file will be based on the current patient
account number from the spreadsheet. For instance, the user data is
"alice_1234", then the html file name will be alice_1234.html.

Hope somebody can shed some light on this,

Alice
