It's usually the fault of the owning application, and java applications, in my
experience, are the worst. They rely on the GC to manage memory, and this
usually causes memory leaks in the application, it's not very robust. Java is
the worst thing to ever happen to the IT world, for many reasons.

Thanks, I think you might be right on. Any ideas on how to resolve this or is
the best way to restart the computer? It has Windows XP on it so I would
imagine that upgrading to Windows 7 or to a newer server OS would probably help
resolve the problem. I did some quick research and it doesn't look like there
is a way to clear cached memory manually. The OS manages it 100%.

Sounds like cached memory, the OS finally released whatever memory it thought
was being used, and problem solved.

Thanks for your help! Rebooting normally helps fix this for me also. This
time I was holding off on doing this in hopes to figure out the root of the
issue. This morning I did not have any of these errors on our scripting PC
like I have all week. Not sure why it is suddenly working. I did not reboot
it.

For my C/S scripts, I usually reboot when this starts happening. I am sure
there is a more elegant solution, though.

Thanks!

Subject: [talkbws] Meditech Connection String

Hi,

I am having some random problems with scripts not wanting to launch Meditech.
Every once in a while I have a scheduled script that gets stuck at the
connection string "Connect "MeditechNUI C:\Program
Files\MEDITECH\Workstation3.x\T.exe", stMeditechNUIEx". The image below shows
the error that I receive. Does anyone know what could be causing this error?
Is there anything that I should try changing on my connection strings to
prevent this from happening? Usually if it happens on one script, the
following scheduled scripts run into the same issue. When I try to rerun them
manually, they work perfectly fine. This normally doesn't happen too much but
this week it has been happening every day. Thanks in advance!
