I believe that the varying sizes are due to the internal state of compilation of the script file.  The code you write is converted to a sort of executable format when it is run, and this format is created and discarded at various times (that make no particular sense to me), and ultimately saved in the script file.

Sara;

A question more out of curiosity than anything else.

I am saving my script at different stages of development. I am also using a file name (ABS WS A5.bws) for development, and one (ABSHSS.bws) for the release. When I test, I will copy the current development file to the release file name. And I check the files, more out of habit than anything else, for date and size.

It is the size that I am curious about. The size varies tremendously from one version to the other, and I haven’t been able to figure it out.  As you can see in the picture below, my release file from 7/18 was 185KB, and the one from yesterday is 588KB, and no appreciable change has been made; maybe a line or two added or deleted.

This is not a project stopper, because they both run as expected. This is more of me wanting to know what is going on.
