Thanks Lew! The new script library design was developed by Thom Blackwell who recently joined Boston Software. He comes from Sybase and was with Microscript before that so he is very familiar with our technology.
Thanks for encouraging more contributions to the library. We will start categorizing them. Very good job, Sara! The design looks great. The brief is informative and helps in making a decision on the usefulness of the script to the reader. Plus, preliminary division into MT C/S and MT MAGIC is very helpful to those of us that are running Meditech. While I have everyone's attention: I am getting some requests for third-party to third-party interfaces, or auto input. If any of you out here in BWSland have scripts that address common, or maybe not so common, third-party software, how about submitting those to the library as well? Sara: perhaps another category to add to the library to help those non-Meditech users? Anyway, I'm really excited about the new library layout, and the submissions that are there. I can see two, maybe three, projects that I have been approached about scripting whose development time will be reduced significantly by the library. Keep up the good work, BWS!! Also, you might want to check out the script example which shows how to send Emails via a script. Following up on some good suggestions, we also modified the script library to give an index of the available scripts and when they were added to the library. Everyone - keep these good suggestions coming - keeps us on our toes!
