The Scheduler is built into Boston WorkStation 6.5. For your situation, click on the calendar icon...select your script...and click Add. Then click Hourly, deselect the times you don't want it to run...Saturday, Sunday, Midnite, 1am, etc...and click OK. It's as simple as that. I'd also suggest you check the Log Events box which records the Scheduler's activity in the file "c:\bss65\schedule.log "

Is this available from you website?

Gloria,
You might look into our new Scheduler feature...it can easily schedule scripts in the scheme you've described.
Boston WorkStation, either a developer or a runtime, needs to be installed on each PC running a script.

I have a script that needs to be automated. The script opens SurgiServ, accesses a surgery schedule, throws that report to a file and then throws that file to a network folder at pre-determined times - 6am, 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm Monday-Friday. I am currently running the script from Boston Workstation.
I am unsure on how to implement this script. We have Visual Basic installed on the pc we plan to run the script on. We have one developer's license and two runtime licenses. Does the pc that runs this script require a runtime license be installed?
We have had Boston Workstation for several months; however, I have had other projects going and still do so I have not been able to devote much time to learning this new software.
I would appreciate any assistance.
Thank you.
