Think of WAIT as absolute time, and STABLE
as variable time. WAIT .5 will wait for half a second, then
proceed to run the script. STABLE .5 will wait for the screen to stabilize
for half a second, then proceed to run the script. The difference is STABLE may take several
seconds until it has a full half second of stability (things are still loading
to the screen, etc). If a WAIT .5 were used, then the script will after half a
second and everything may not be loaded on the screen. As far as removal of all WAITs, STABLE is
used for screen stabilization, where WAIT can be used for any reason you want
to wait in your script. Hope this helps,
-----Original Message----- Good Morning... I recently removed all
references of WAIT and changed them to STABLE. I created a variable for STABLE
and placed a slider control on my form to control the speed of the script at
run time. This seem to work well, especially when the network is slow and
I need to slow the keying down. The question I have is...
What is the difference between STABLE and WAIT... And... Should I have removed
all instances of WAIT from my script... ? Thanks, Vince Swisher Information Technology Lahey Clinic See our web page at http://www.lahey.org for a full
