Title: Message

Does this mean every time the schedule needs to be changed  you have to change the schedule on the Developer’s PC save the .bws file and restore it on the runtime pc again?

The scheduler is accessible in Runtime for viewing only...you can change the schedule from a Developer PC.  Actually you can make schedule changes but they can't be saved.  This issue should be addressed in the next release, namely I'll leave the Save project button on the Runtime version.

Appreciate it.  After I get the .bws file on the User’s pc, I know there is an option to bring up 6.5 only in Run Time mode.  Do we need set up the scheduler Logged on to the PC as an administrator and set the run time as a run user? Will the run user be able to access the scheduler or change the BWS just by clicking on a button on 6.5?

Thanks,

Distributing VBA scripts is similar to distributing an Excel .xls file...install Boston WorkStation and copy the .bws file.

Distributing BWS files.

We have written a Project bws  in 6.5.  I know on 6.0 we went into VB TOOLS and went in to the Package and Deployment Wizard to create a run time.

What is the procedure for 6.5?   Do we just transfer the BWS file and setup Boston Workstation on the User’s PC?

From reading the documentation on 6.5, I know we can restrict Boston to be only run time.

Thanks,
