I need to create a system that interfaces with another
hospitals HIS. They need me to create a file in a basic HL7 format.
I am planning on writing a query that will produce the data and then down
loading it to my PC. Then using VB, parsing the file and writing it out in
an HL7 format. The problem is that I know very little about HL7.
Does anybody have a VB module that they would be willing to share that creates
an HL7 format? This is not real real event, but we are using McKesson's
Star 8.0.
