Hi Elizabeth,

You could create 2 reports, 1 for BAR.PROC and 1 for OE.CAT to list updates
done base on the UPD node. BAR.PROC has a update node &BD[mnemonic]UPD
which (I don't think) is not listed in the data definitions in NPR as well
as OE.CAT. You could create computed fields and reference them in your
reports.

Schedule the report to run every 10 minute through MIS and in your select
criteria go back 15 minutes. UPD nodes should be S(0) time so you shouldn't
have a problem doing that.

If you want to contact me for more info, I would be more than willing to
work with you on it.

Subject: [Talk] Master File Update script

Hi everyone,

Has anyone worked on a script for an MFU interface? Meditech does not offer
this interface, so we are looking at other alternatives. More specifically,
we would like if a chargemaster edit is done, or an OE Category or test
mnemonic is changed in Meditech, it will create message and send to other
vendor. I know Iatrics can do this interface, but I was hoping we could do
our own with BW.

Would really appreciate if anyone could offer some advice.

Thanks,

Elizabeth
