Gary,

To send extended keys to these kinds of terminal emulations you’ll need to know the communication characters that generate it.  For down it uses Escape [B:

Try

            Key chr(27) & “[B”

Subject: [Talk] IDXterm

Hi,
I'm trying to send directional arrow(down and up)commands to an IDXtem(v2.52) session.  I tried using key and sendkeys, but nothing seems to work.  At the keyboard, you can type a down arrow and it works fine in the application.  I'm thinking there must be some way to do it.  Anybody have any ideas or experience using IDXterm?
