You mentioned that you "have observed that BWS has problems with other automated tasks running on the same machine." I have seen where, if I'm trying to run a script with BWS concurrently with a script written in regular VB, the BWS script tends to steal focus from my _vbscript_ and cause it to go out of synch. This was resolved when I eventually ported over my old _vbscript_ to BWS.
In general, I try to only run one script at a time, if for no other reason than to make things easier on myself if something does crash.

Just yesterday I had two scripts ,keying in timecards, running on my PC while I did my work. We also have two different servers running multiple scripts. No problem!

Can multiple Boston Workstation sessions be running simultaneously on
one machine working with Meditech? I have not attempted to run multiple
sessions, but I have observed that BWS has problems with other automated
tasks running on the same machine.
Any feedback would be appreciated!
