[Talk] Reading document with BWS

Does anyone know if it is possible to read data from a document?  We have a system (McKesson Horizon Patient Folder) that will only output in PDF or TIF, not regular text file.  We would like to be able to scan for certain data in a specific location and use that data for another process.  Has anyone had any success with this or something similar?   Thanks for any help!
