All the ADT interfaces I have worked with go from Meditech to the other vendor software. You register in Meditech, interface the info to the other vendor and then do whatever processes you need in the other vendor software. The reason for this is the amount of information needed to successfully register a patient in Meditech and accurately cross reference them to possible pre-existing records in MRI.
I am not saying it can't be done the other way and it would be interesting to hear from anyone who has done ADT from the OV to Meditech.
