Is there a way you can make the Access database available
as well for the 835 example?
TIA,
Michael

I’ve been posted fair number of new scripts to the script center. I wanted to
point out a couple that are of general interest, I’ve prefixed them with the
title - Rules Script Shell in the General Purpose Examples. These are
Rules based scripts that are starting points for scripts that need to do
specific things. The Read From File shell is a great
starting point for scripts that read from a file and key in values – i.e
Dictionary or table updates. It includes techniques presented during the
Bulletproof scripting webinar – and has a working demonstration example as
well. The 835 Remittance shell shows how
to “walk through” an X.12 835 – It has extensive “commenting” so you can see
what all the segments in an 835 are and also the commonly needed fields for a
remittance posting – worth looking at for the comments alone! BTW there is
an example 835 file in TestFiles.zip (in our install
directory). Check’m
out! And of course I’m happy to post
examples to the site for you as well – I’ll do the “cleanup / documentation”
work for you - just send’m on! Regards and Happy
Scripting, Thom Thom C.
