Greetings, Applets as you saw are a "black box" from the Web connections standpoint - they show up as a single tag in the Document Object Model. So there's nothing <there> for the web connection to see.
Windows sometimes can see the Textouts from Applets - but it depends on the virtual machine being used to display them. OCR will of course work since it is seeing a screen shot so it doesn't care J We do have a new Java connection that we could try here, email me directly: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I can get set up to work with you on this. Regards, Thom From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of McCullough, Kevin Sent: Tuesday, April 17, 2007 11:05 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Talk] Help with Java Applets I took a look at the Webinar about the Boston Webstation, but I noticed that Java applets do not work very well with a web connection. I tried the Windows connection as well, but didn't have much luck there either. I was playing around with OCR, but I wanted to check if anyone else had success with a certain connection type and how they did it. Thanks!
