I've added some functionality to minimize VBA when suspending and restarting
Rules scripts. It will be available soon.

Subject: RE: [Talk] Refresh Script Window

Greetings,
1. The "save actions" button will do this- as does clicking on a rule - it
will pop up the "Save Actions" dialog. I don't know if having it
"automatically refresh" i.e. as soon as you go to Edit Actions - and close
VBA the change is done - is a good or bad idea???

Thom, I want to be able to copy a step from one project to another project
with all the actions
under that step. Whenever I do this and save it, I do not see anything pop
up. I only see this when I click edit a particular action in a script. We
are looking for
rapid application development and it will be a tremedous benefit to our
developers
to be able to copy and paste code from one project to another.

So far the only other option is the copy (import) a whole script into a
project, but it still
does not allow me to edit a particular steps actions by copying data into it
and saving it. I
thought I heard in your web-n-R that if we copy all the data from a script
module to a
new module we create, edit and save it, then copy all back into the script
module, the
changes would happen. It doesn't appear so.

If I am not able to do this, I have to spend time kicking off the script and
wasting time
duplicating my efforts jumping from screen to screen recapturing data points
again. This
would be repetitive tasks. It needs to be more object oriented.

2. I've asked about having this before - from what I was told - we have no
control over "preventing VBA" from appearing when it is forced to go into
Debug mode (can't force a close either) because when you close VBA when it
is in a debug state, it stops debugging - but hey can't hurt to ask again
and I know Rich is listening :)

If it is not possible to close the window, maybe you can minimize the window
so it just stays on the windows
bar. The issue is not that it opens, but that it is maximized and we have
to either close it or minimize it it
to get to the BWS window. I think minimizing it will do the trick!

Subject: [Talk] Refresh Script Window

Here are a few more features I think BWS should have.

1. Refresh button to refresh the New Script Rules window. Whenever I
update the script using VBA and close it, I do not see the changes. I prob
have to exit out and come back in. I'm not sure this works even though.

2. Whenever I pause the script when running, it kicks off the VBA which is
very annoying. This option should be disabled.

Subject: drag and drop

I understand that BWS development is working on a better UI friendly drag
and drop actions within a script. Here is another good feature to add in
future releases.

Sometimes I have two boston workstation projects open on two windows. It
would be nice to be able to drag the actions from one window and put them in
another project. I usually do this with a lot of microsoft applications
such as microsoft visual studio and it helps with rapid application
development.
