Hello,
I believe it is not Meditech popup box like you explained below. It is
Windows Save As dialog box.
If you have a Meditech CS workstation try to download a report from the
NPR database, there is a menu item Save Report To File option(At least
for my user account that's the case). When provided DPM and ReportName,
hitting F12 will produce this Save As dialog box.
P.S it is not "Print Destination" Dialog I am referring.

Sorry for any confusion caused.

Thanks again for your quick replies.

Correct, I'm saying you should be able to enter the path in the Meditech
window in the Destination box and not ever get the Windows Save As
dialog box.

Since this is text based email, I'll "try" to make this look reasonable
:-)

Your Meditech popup box should look something like this:

-----------------------------------------------------------
Print Destination
-----------------------------------------------------------
Send To
O View O Print * Download O Mail O Archive O Browser

Destination
 -----------------------------------------------------
 | C:\Reports Folder\meditech.file |
 -----------------------------------------------------

                        -----------
                        | Browse |
                        -----------

                                                --------- ----------
                                                | OK | | Cancel |
                                                --------- ----------

Right, but he's asking why can't you just supply the path and filename
instead of activating that dialog?

No, it is not Print Destination Box, it is regular native Windows "Save
As" Dialog box.

Is there a reason you can't just use
Enter "C:\Reports Folder\meditech.file" (your path and file name)
When you get Meditech's Print Destination box?

In what case would you not know ahead of time where you wanted to save
the file?

Thanks!
Paul

Hello Talk Members.
I have an issue accessing Windows "Save As" dialog box which populate
when you hit F12 in certain situations(Eg: Download a NPR report) in a
Meditech CS environment.
I have tried to open a separate connection to Windows via Connect
command, but still it would not recognize the dialog.

Any help or direction is appreciated.

Thank you
