Scott: I have a Unix box for another application and the Boston
Software works by simply using their 'ftp' that is built in (believe it
or not)...

To test, I used my windows command prompt to ensure that I could log in
to my Unix server box. Once I was able to confirm that, I simply tested
using the Boston FTP built in feature and using the ip address for my
Unix box... works great.

Not sure about searching the directories... if it is a Unix box, you
should be able to write your own built in Unix scripts to search for
files instead of using this third party application (sorry Boston
Software)...

Subject: [Talk] Unix and Boston

Just curious as to whether anybody has used CMD Console to FTP to Unix
and search for files in the directories?

If so, can you provide some assistance to me. How did you retrieve the
results of your search since it is character based?

Thanks,

Scott
