Greetings,
If I'm not mistaken you <could> read data from Hyperterminal using Textouts
but I have a better suggestion that will be much easier in the long run.

Hyperterminal is just a telnet client. So the better approach is to use a
Telnet client that is easy for us to script.

If you don't have a terminal emulator "hanging around" that supports telnet
- we can ship a version of Putty - which is an open source telnet client,
that you can easily script - without having to use windows. I'll send this
to you "off list"

Regards,

Subject: [Talk] Windows HyperTerminal

I am trying to interact with Windows XP's HyperTerminal program. I can
connect to it with a windows connection and send it key commands but I am
having trouble reading the information from the screen. Does someone who has
done this have any ideas?

-Thanks
Andrew
