Greetings,

Excel doesn't report back it's "end" the way text files do.

I'd suggest you use filtering in the DataStation Report configuration.

When you are adding the fields you want to display, the first field in the
list can be used as a "filter" - and there is a config dialog for setting
what the filter should be.

Move Status to the top of the list and set the filter for records with a
particular Status- Error for example.

Or if you want all status to show up but not any that have no status (in
your case blank rows) use: ! as your filter.

Regards,

Thom

Subject: [Talk] D.Report

I have a report that I am trying to run after a script is complete and it is
pulling from an excel file. Even though my test file only has 10 records
the report is creating a lot more. I am assuming it would try to do all
64000 lines in excel if I didn't kill it after it got the 1000. Is there
something I can program in the D.Report line to only look at the first 500
records? This report should never have any more than that.

Thanks,

Reese
