GetFTP uses the initial transfer mode of the FTP server. If it's necessary
to set the transfer mod specifically to ASCII or BINARY, we can do that with
some additional script commands.

Subject: [Talk] GetFTP Question

Does anybody know if GetFTP uses ASCII or BINARY when transferring files?
By no means am I an expert in how FTP works but it is my understanding from
using programs like Filezilla and WS_FTP that when you are FTP'ing files you
always choose between ASCII and BINARY. It appears to me that the GetFTP
command uses ASCII and I'm curious if I can tell it to use BINARY.

Thanks,
Davy
